Tournament:  2018 Kingston City Classic

Dates:              Saturday October 27, 2018

Venue:             Bald Hill Park, Clarinda, Vic

Format:           9 temporary baskets, 18 unique tee positions. 2 rounds for a total of 36 holes.

The 2018 Kingston City Classic has come to a close. Thanks to all who attended and helped to make this a fantastic success. We ended up with 38 people contesting across 11 divisions. This is an increase from last year. The largest division was Novice which is always a good thing for this type of tournament. It is designed to be a lot of fun to encourage new tournament players while being challenging enough for the seasoned pros. It was great to see so many of the Geelong players make the trip. Thanks for your support.

There are a lot of people we would like to thank who helped out in many ways. Some of them have been listed below.

First and foremost, Darren Stace-Smith for all the work that he did on the course design and setup and also to the setup and breakdown crew. We would also like to thank the sponsors, City of Kingston, Portal Disc, Fidgetmini, Outright Plumbing, Max Electrical, Pixel by Pixel and JABPDM. Also a big thanks to those who provided the sweets.

The full tournament results can be found here.

Congrats to Patty Robinson for taking out the Open division with a comfortable lead of 10 strokes. A special mention goes out to Dylan Feldman who stepped up to MPO this year coming in second. Well done to all the divisional winners as listed below.

We were excited to be able to hold the event at the Bald Hill Park in Clarinda as it is being considered for getting a permanent course. It was great to see so many of the locals come out to see us play. I spoke to a few of them who were very excited about the prospect of getting a permanent course there. Thanks to everyone who represented our sport so well. We look forward to holding the KCC 2019 on the permanent course.
