One of the fastest growing sports in the world, the aim of disc golf is to get your “disc” into an elevated metal basket in the fewest number of “throws” or shots. Just think “ball golf” but your arm is the club and the disc is the ball![/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” class=”cs-ta-left” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 5px 0px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/5″ style=”padding: 0px;”] [/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”3/5″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_icon_list][cs_icon_list_item title=”Active and outdoors” type=”tree” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]Active and outdoors[/cs_icon_list_item][cs_icon_list_item title=”Friendly competition” type=”trophy” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]Friendly competition[/cs_icon_list_item][cs_icon_list_item title=”Accesible for variety of ages and abilities” type=”child” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]Accesible for variety of ages and abilities[/cs_icon_list_item][cs_icon_list_item title=”All weather, all seasons” type=”soundcloud” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]All weather, all seasons[/cs_icon_list_item][cs_icon_list_item title=”Environmentally friendly” type=”envira” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]Environmentally friendly[/cs_icon_list_item][cs_icon_list_item title=”Social & FUN!” type=”wechat” link_enabled=”false” link_url=”#” link_new_tab=”false”]Social & FUN![/cs_icon_list_item][/cs_icon_list][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/5″ style=”padding: 0px;”] [/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://www.melbournediscgolf.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/tee-off.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/2″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://www.melbournediscgolf.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/throw.jpg” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][cs_section parallax=”false” style=”margin: 0px;padding: 5px 0px 25px;”][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”2/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]Disc golf shares the same joys and frustrations of traditional golf, whether it’s nailing a long putt, sinking an “ace” (hole in one) or hitting a tree halfway down the fairway. As in “ball golf,” a typical course will have 9 or 18 holes, but each hole only averages between 50 and 150 metres. Natural obstacles like trees and lakes add a challenging dimension to a course.

Disc golf, is a fun, inexpensive, healthy and environmentally friendly game that can be enjoyed irregardless of age, gender or ability. Give it a try today![/cs_text][/cs_column][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/3″ style=”padding: 0px;”][x_image type=”none” src=”http://www.melbournediscgolf.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2016/12/disc-golf-map-exmaple.png” alt=”” link=”false” href=”#” title=”” target=”” info=”none” info_place=”top” info_trigger=”hover” info_content=””][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text class=”cs-ta-center”]Start by exploring local courses, our ‘come & try sessions’ before our monthly League Day competitions or contact us for more information.[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][cs_row inner_container=”true” marginless_columns=”false” style=”margin: 0px auto;padding: 0px;”][cs_column fade=”false” fade_animation=”in” fade_animation_offset=”45px” fade_duration=”750″ type=”1/1″ class=”cs-ta-right” style=”padding: 0px;”][cs_text]> Next Page: Our Club[/cs_text][/cs_column][/cs_row][/cs_section][/cs_content]
