League Results – June 2018

Thanks to all who braved the weather and made it to the June league day. We had 10 players in the morning round and 6 in the afternoon. Tarron had the hot score of 5 under. However, Ryan Miller had his PB of 1 over and with his handicap of 6.1 netted a low score of 50.9. This was the best score of the day, so Ryan is our June League Day Champion. Congrats, you can pick out a disc from the club shop at the next league day. Paul Arden set the bar for the CTB in the morning with his drive landing within 1 meter of the hole 10 basket. This was not beaten in the afternoon, so Paul wins the CTP two months running. Will he make it a Turkey in July? The afternoon round saw 6 players playing their first round for the day. Allen and Tarron also played again in the afternoon round. That turned into a pretty tight battle for tags with Allen finishing just ahead of Tarron and taking the No. 4 tag. It was great to see Anthony and Ishtar again as well as new players Stephen and Patrick. We hope to see you again next league day.

We are now half way through the year. The full league day results and ladder will be updated on the website this coming week. The current top 5 contenders for the 2018 League Day handicapped competition are as follows: Tarron with 443 points, Jacob 428, Oscar 421, Juha 419 and Allen with 416 points. There is not a lot separating the top 5. It then drops down a long way to Jeff on 330. The calculations for the 2018 raw score competition are still being done and will follow in another post.
