September League Day

The cold, wet and windy conditions today had many of us questioning why we were silly enough to be out on the course but there is really only one answer…. we love our disc golf and it was league day. Come rain, hail or shine (all of which we had during the afternoon round), if it is league day you will find us out on the course.

The gusty winds were blamed for many astray shots today but despite this, there were some great rounds recorded, especially by some of our newer members who smashed their handicaps. Archie Haramis was the overall handicap winner with a lead of 16.4 from Anthony Magen in second place.

Chris Eltringham took home the CTB pin with a parked disc on hole 1. The best raw score for the day was recorded by Chris Ronalds with 52 (4 under par) in the afternoon.

It was great to see some new players on the course today, including three new juniors who all played incredibly well, especially in the tough conditions.

Congratulations to all 24 disc golfers who played today.
