A slightly disappointing fifteen came to throw for our August league day.  This time we played a slightly different version of the Racim-designed longer course used the past two months.

This was probably the last of the ‘cold weather’ league days and we certainly seem to have avoided the weather-induced cancellation seen last year.  Over-all, we’ve been rather lucky with the playing conditions all year.

There’s a certain player who doesn’t turn up very often, but when he does, he wins the day…  August was his third time!  Congratulations, Addison.

However, it is still clear that consistent attendance is the better attribute to have.  The three players who have attended all league days this year are currently placed 1st, 2nd and 5th (3rd & 4th places are occupied by players who have missed just one league day).
