August League Day
Freezing conditions, wind and rain did not deter Melbourne’s die-hard disc golfers from attending our August League and sampling the course for Frost Toss. League was held at the Bald Hill Disc Golf Course with an additional two temp holes added.
The best RAW score of 62 (1 under par) was shot by Jarrath Sweetten. Jaz was the only player to shoot under par all day. After handicaps were applied, Jarrath was announced League winner by a very narrow 0.1 ahead of Cassie Sweetten. Cassie also took out the CTP prize during the morning round. Congratulations team Sweetten.

CTP during the afternoon round was won by Kaspar Carr-howard.
A special mention also to Paul Arden who aced hole 1 during practice!
Conditions were certainly challenging for all who braved the weather and not surprisingly, numbers were down however it was great to see a few new players and many locals stopping buy to purchase discs and to enquire about disc golf. Our new course is certainly proving to be very popular.
