Despite the wind, rain and cold, we had 35 disc golfers across the three venues this weekend.
Handicap Winners and Overall Results
Two rounds were played at Ruffey Lake Park with eleven disc golfers playing in the morning round and just three in the afternoon. The overall handicap winner for the day at Ruffey was Max Cornelius.
There was just one round played at Bald Hill Park with twelve golfers. The handicap winner for the day was Alistair Don.
Meanwhile, over at Stony Creek, there were ten players. Here, Ian Buchanan-Black was the handicap winner for the second week in a row.
Hot Rounds and Closest to the PIN (CTP)
The Hot rounds at Ruffey Lake Park were shot by David Perry (-5) during the morning round and Brennan Venten (-2) in the afternoon.
Peter Morgan took out the CTP at Ruffey on hole 1.
The hot round at Bald Hill Park (-4) was shot be Chris Scott who also claimed the CTP pin.
The hot round at Stony Creek Reserve was shot by Chris Ronalds (-6)
CTP was won by Joel Paton

We look forward to more social days in the near future. Remember that our social days are for everyone, regardless of experience. They are a great way to meet other disc golfers and pick up a few tips from our more experienced players. As restrictions ease, we will be able to increase the size of playing groups allowing more people on the course at one time. Bring on Summer!
