Well, we’re reached the half-way point and its clear that the most important thing is to turn up as often as possible. There are only two people in the top ten who have played 3 events, all the rest have played 4 or 5 league days.
We had wonderful weather – cool and cloudy but almost no wind. This was the first look at Racim’s new layout – complete with scribbled maps for all groups! 22 players took up the challenge – the most we’ve seen all year.
Scoring was pretty sharp for a first look at the new course – all the leading players were close to par.
Congratulations to Evelyn Heath for winning this round – over 6 strokes clear of second place. Her handicap is going to suffer!
